Elegant Wedding Stationery with
A Fine art wedding look

Designing stationery is what I love to do. I create save-the-dates, full invitaitons suites and day-of stationery. My style is elegant, European and traditional. If that sounds like you, then please read on!

Customizable Without Being Custom-Priced

I have created a system that is designed to save you the major price tag of custom design while still giving you that gorgeous, bespoke look. It includes a library of pre-written wording option (parents hosting, both parents hosting, couple hosting, and couple/parents hosting) for both secular and religious (Catholic and Christian) ceremonies both with an without artwork (monograms, crosses, florals, line art frames etc.) on the invitation.

By using this system it is easy to create a personalized result without a bespoke price tag. For couples who want something truly one of a kind, I can commission original line art or watercolor paintings of wedding venues as a custom add-on, inserted easily and affordably into any suite.

Bilingual Stationery, Natively Written

I provide bilingual options for English and Italian and English and Spanish using the same system I described above. I am happy to work with other language pairs. Please get in touch with me at dawn@albamarie.com, and we can discuss pricing.

Digital or Printed Files

I can provide you with digital or printed files. I work with printers in here where I live in Italy as well as the United States. So, if you are planning a destination wedding in Italy and want me to print your save-the-dates and invitations for you, I can send them to a trusted print shop in the US while printing day-of stationery, such as ceremony programs, menus, place cards, and signage in Italy, where the wedding is, so it is not necessary to ship stationery across the Atlantic.

Papers of the finest quality

Living in Italy, one of the great papermaking cultures in the world, has given me a true appreciation for handmade, artisan papers. I have direct access to Italians finest paper mills. These include the renowned specialty papers of Cartiere Miliani Fabriano, which is located just an hour away from me in the town of Fabriano, where paper has been hand crafted since the mid-13th century. Then there are the handmade cotton rag sheets of Cartiera Amatruda on the Amalfi Coast. The Amatruda family that has been making bambagina paper (thick paper made of cotton rags) since at least 1483 using traditional, slow production methods that include natural deckle edges, 100% cotton rag, and unique watermarks. Up in Northern Italy you will find MC Paper in Toscolano Maderno, an area where the craft of paper making dates back to the 1300s, when the first paper mills of Lake Garda were established. It produces handmade paper, using traditional, manual techniques rather than industrial processes. This includes creating unique, one-of-a-kind sheets.

There are, of course, many small, handmade paper makers in the US as well who craft high-quality, artisan papers made of cotton rags, linen, or recycled fibers. Please let me know if you are interested in working with handmade papers.

Designed to Keep Costs Where They Belong

Weddings already stretch a budget. Stationery should not be the thing that breaks it. My goal is to deliver beautiful, distinctive wedding stationery at a price that lets you spend your money where it matters most: the venue, the food, the flowers, and the experience. Stationery definitely sets the tone, and I am a stationer, so I love beautiful paper! However, if you do want to indulge your love of the finest papers and artisan printing methods, I recommend putting the effort towards favors (think a beautiful engraving on soft and pillowy, handmade paper from the Amalfi Coast!) that will be treasured by guests for years to come rather than thrown away after the event is over.
